It can be upsetting to see your child struggle. You desire for the best for your child and want them to have a happy, fulfilling life! Therapy is an effective way to help your child with the struggles and challenges they face.
As a Therapist, I can help your child process and express what is going on inside. When a child experiences emotions and challenges that they do not know how to express it often emerges outwardly in the form of disruptive behavior, anger, anxiety and/or sadness. I will help your child work through and express these emotions. I will tailor my approach to your child’s developmental level to help your child right where he/she is at. For children ages 3- 5, Play Therapy is the best approach. For children between 6-12, I will typically use an integrated approach that will include play and helping your child learn coping skills and tools that your child can take with them to use throughout their lifetime.
